Formalities:

We require certified copies of both parties' birth certificates, which must include the fathers' names.

We need to know the occupations of the bride and groom. If either of you have been married before, we require certification of final divorce papers or death certificates. Then, all we ask is a minimum of three working weeks notice to prepare for your special day.

* Effective for all new weddings scheduled after February 28, 2003, regardless of wedding date, Goverment fees have increased significantly for weddings and will no longer be included. Government fees of up to $300 per couple apply. $100 service fee applies for all vow renewals. All necessary paperwork is handled by us (Only in Jamaica). We require a minimum of three working weeks notice to complete the formalities. A late fee is required for any wedding arrangements made within 21 days of arrival. You are required to be in Jamaica 48 hours before the ceremony can be performed.
Please Note: Government Fees are net and not refundable.

Click to view large size picture . . .At Breezes Bahamas, your are required to be in Nassau 2 days prior to the ceremony. All necessary paperwork must be handled personally by the marrying couple. This is a requirement from the Registrar General's office. Marriage licenses are issued Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Office of the Registrar General in Nassau. The Registrar General shall be entitled to insist on such proof as she/he deems necessary.

In the Dominican Republic, a Certified Statutory Document (Letter of Single Status), Click to view large size picture . . .Certified Birth Certificate and any legal name change documents must be translated into Spanish and legalized by the nearest Dominican Consul (fee applies) in the country of origin. The couple must arrange this through the Dominican Consular and must bring the original documents in English. (Additional paperwork required if either person has been previously married.) In addition weddings are perfromed by a local judge and wedding times may need to be adjusted after arrival, government fees are payable to the judge in cash upon arrival. Click to view large size picture . . .In Curacao, all documents for getting married must be submitted to local authorities a minimum of THREE months prior to the requested wedding date. The wedding location is limited to the gazebo as wedding locations must be approved by the government. Guests must be on island for a minimum of 4 days prior to the wedding; therefore, a minimum of 6 or 7 night stay is required to facilitate a wedding. Please contact our wedding department for details.
